Deurowood REACH Newsletter 2 At 1st of June 2008 the further and important chapter – the registration of REACH has started. Until 30th of November 2008 all chemical substances which have to be registered (i.e. substances of REACH) must be pre-registered. That pre-registration is the condition for the use of transitional periods until the final registration of the substances. Deurowood will have all substances contained in our products pre-registered (by our suppliers or ourselves). This will guarantee that no modifications to our products will be necessary as a result of REACH until at least 2013 (smaller production volume in part till 2018). We have been frequently asked to confirm that our products comply with this regulation and that they can also be supplied in future. As a result of the above circumstance there is no reason to change our range of products. With the registration the information about the exposition and risks with the applications of our additives must be exchanged and if necessary the European Chemical Agency (ECHA) must be informed. At any one time we eventually will contact you, to enquire the applications of our products, which are necessary for the preparation of exposition-scenarios.
